SOREX

Sequencing

Build a routine

Not a quiz that recommends everything. This is the order the products go in, which ones should never share a step, and how few of them you can get away with. Four products is a complete routine. Most people do not need more than six.

AM

Morning

  1. 01

    Cleanse

    1010Cold Cream Cleanser1020Clarifying Gel Wash

Optional in the morning if your skin runs dry — water is often enough.

  2. 02

    Prep

    1040Balancing Essence1050Glacial Face Mist

Leave skin visibly damp. This is what makes the next step go further.

  3. 03

    Concentrate

    2010Ascorbic Concentrate 15%2030Peptide Concentrate

Ascorbic belongs in the morning. Never layer it with 2070 in the same step.

  4. 04

    Moisturise

    3010Daily Barrier Cream3030Weightless Gel-Cream

One is enough. Pick by how oily your skin actually is, not by season.

  5. 05

    Protect

    6010Invisible Fluid SPF 506020Tinted Mineral SPF 40

The only non-negotiable step on this page. Two finger-lengths.

PM

Evening

  1. 01

    First cleanse

    1030Micellar Prep Water

Sunscreen does not come off in one pass. Skip this and the rest sits on a film.

    Cleanse

  3. 03

    Prep

    1040Balancing Essence

Not on the same night as 5010.

  4. 04

    Active

    2020Retinal Concentrate 0.1%2070Azelaic Concentrate 10%2040Barrier Concentrate

One active per evening. 2020 and 5010 never share a night.

  5. 05

    Eye

    4020Cold Eye Cream4010Eye Concentrate

Ring finger, along the orbital bone, not onto the lid.

  6. 06

    Seal

    3020Rich Night Cream3040Ceramide Balm

Balm goes last and only where it is needed.

Weekly

Steps that are not daily

Most of the damage people do to their own skin comes from using a good weekly product several times a week. The frequency on these is the instruction, not a suggestion.

Rules worth keeping

  • One new product at a time, with two weeks between additions. Add three at once and a reaction tells you nothing.
  • 2020 and 5010 never share an evening. Both are strong; together they are just irritation.
  • 2010 in the morning, 2070 in the evening. Layered in one step you get the downside of both.
  • Apply concentrates to damp skin. It is the cheapest upgrade to any routine.
  • If skin looks angry, stop everything except 2040 and 2080 for a week. Do not push through it.
  • Six weeks before you judge anything. Twelve for peptides.

Rather not assemble it

The 9000 regimens are these sequences already built, priced below the sum of their parts, with a printed card that sets out the order and the ramp-up schedule.
